The team of CFP (Philippines), Cavitex Holdings, Inc. (Philippines), Munich Airport International (Germany), Airport Consulting Partners GmbH/ ILF Group (Germany), and The S-A-P Group (U.S.A.) was appointed by the Provincial Government of Cavite as the project development management and advisory group for the implementation of the Sangley Point International Airport (SPIA) Project. The appointment was made after the team submitted the winning bid in the competitive bidding for airport business planning, legal, financial, commercial and technical advisory services necessary for the development of SPIA. The notice to proceed was issued to the advisory team in October 2019.

The PGC is the government implementing agency of SPIA. The Project is a 1,500-hectare master planned international airport development intended to be the new main international gateway servicing the Greater Capital Region and the country‘s southern provinces.

Collectively, the team has the complete range of expertise to support the PGC in successfully carrying out and overseeing the development of SPIA. The team’s immediate task is to help the PGC and its joint venture partners finalize SPIA‘s master development and airport business plans. This will be followed by advisory assistance in carrying out all project development activities, including contracting for EPC works, permitting and approvals, independent design check, financial closing, project monitoring and construction oversight, including operational readiness and airport transfer.
