Dave Blas is a licensed Philippine and ASEAN architect, with nearly three decades of design leadership experience for shopping centers and integrated vertical mixed-use developments which have unlocked higher potential of properties. Providing guidance from formulating master plans and concept designs, to managing design completion and implementation, he has been involved in a number of residential, office hotel, and large-scale township and estate projects as well.

In various leadership posts, Dave played key design roles in multiple signature projects, including the redevelopment of Ayala Center in Makati City, transforming it from being just a retail development, to a cohesive “live, work and play” environment; the Greenbelt development, which has received international acclaim from the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers; and the revitalized master plan for the city center of Bonifacio Global City.

As a strong advocate of approaching projects from multiple perspectives, his unique strength is in providing aesthetically and technically sound design solutions that address the developer’s business objectives, while fulfilling the customer’s expectations. Given this exposure to a broad range of projects, Dave is able to provide multi-faceted and multi-disciplinary insight and guidance.

Dave earned his bachelor’s degree in Architecture, cum laude, from the University of the Philippines. He is also a Certified BERDE Professional under the Philippine Green Building Council.
