Kathryn Yambao has 35 years of experience in the fields of project finance and economics. As a former member of NEDA’s Infrastructure Staff, she gained extensive familiarity and knowledge on project evaluation to comply with NEDA-ICC Guidelines.

As a consultant, she has been involved in the planning and formulation of development projects financed by international financial institutions, including Asian Development Bank and World Bank as well as national and local government agencies in the Philippines. She conducted commercial viability and risk assessments, and prepared financial models and economic analysis on transport projects (roads, ports, and airports) around the Philippines to help prepare these projects for funding under ODA loan programs or from the private sector under BOT arrangements. She has held consultations with government agencies and the private sector on proposed projects and their benefits to help secure buy-in from stakeholders. She made a valuation of these benefits consistent with acceptable valuation methods.

She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from the University of the Philippines.
